START A SERVOLUTION!!!
7 Days of Servolution is churches from all over the world coming together to express the love of Christ to the people in their communities through simple acts of kindness and generosity. From April 3rd through the 9th we are asking you to partner with us and churches from all over the world and bring that example set by Jesus to the people in your community. As you know this is the week leading up to Easter weekend. We believe that this is a great opportunity to invite people from all over your community to come out and be a part. Many times it’s during those weekends that people are the most receptive to the Gospel message and we want to help do all that we can to fill churches everywhere for people to have an opportunity to experience the love of God through salvation.
We are asking you to pick a time during that 7 Days and set about doing the work of God through serving. Maybe it’s an afternoon water outreach or maybe you would like to take that entire Saturday and devote it reaching out to people. What you do, how you do it and the cost involved is entirely up to you. No Servolution is insignificant and there is no limitation to the potential of what you can do.
On this website we have a lot of great resources available to you. Whether this is a new idea for your church or whether that culture of serving is already a part of what you’re about. We believe that these resources can be amazingly valuable to you.
Once you register, you will have access to printed materials like posters and fliers, web graphics, promotions plans and we’ll also be posting several video teachings with practical tips and ideas for you to use as you plan. All of this is completely free.
We want to do all that we can to help you reach your community for Jesus. We believe that we can all do more together than any one church or denomination can do alone. There is power in unity and we know that the body of Christ will be impacted because of it.

a little bite of heaven
Words cannot begin to describe the party that happened in my mouth upon savoring a bite of PINEAPPLE/BASIL fresh made gelato at Whole Foods this morning. I’m rendered speechless. I felt like I could close my eyes and be transported to Tahiti, sitting on a deserted island in a lonely hammock listening to the waves lapping up against the shore.
MORAL OF THE STORY: PINEAPPLE/BASIL GELATO AT WHOLE FOODS = BITE OF HEAVEN ON EARTH – WOW!

SAY NO TO CPSIA!!
Today is CPSIA Blogging Day.
Another big push to get the laws changed and prevent thousands of small business owners — artists and crafters making beautiful handmade items for children — from going under. Here’s a short list of action items/ways YOU can help:
1) Find out more. Here or here are good places to start.
2) Make your voice heard. USE THE ACTION KIT made by etsy administration with sample letters that can be used to contact all the pertinent representatives.
3) Help spread the word! Put up a post today about CPSIA Blogging Day. Send an email to your friends. Tell your sister about it when she calls. Tweet your heart out about it. So many small businesses across the US will be affected by this new law. In most of the cases, the testing fees required will put these micro-businesses in bankruptcy. Can you imagine a world without bazillions of awesome etsy shops? That’s a sad, sad picture.

This is a video of Oliver (Eden’s friend) learning to use his new wheelchair in ONE DAY!!! He has defied the odds, defied the doctors, laughed in their face, and is going to be smoking by them all one day soon in his new wheels! WHAT A CHAMP!!!

Matthew 21:15-16

Oh to have faith like a child………what a beautiful portrait Jesus paints in this scripture of children worshipping in the temple. I’m so honored to be entrusted with the responsibility to pass on a spiritual legacy of what it means to passionately fall in love with JESUS!
I love my Eden and can’t wait to see what HUGE things God has planned for her to bring Him glory!

She says “PWEEEEESE!” now all of the time. PWEESE can I have a cwacker, PWEESE can I have a cookie, PWEESE can I go out, PWEESE can I have some of what you’re having……..good to know she’s learning her manners early though! And as stern and mean mommy as I can be, how can you say no to PWEESE!!!? It’s the cutest thing yet!
